in Kanchanaburi
Pilok was a subdistrict in Thong Pha Phum District of Kanchanaburi Province. Ban I-tong was a remote village on the Myanmar border. Pilok had ever progressed in 1984-1985 because global mineral prices fell. Nowadays, The main income of the village was tourism and homestay. There was a suitable place for tourists who love nature and want to relax, The weather was higher than 1,000 meters above sea level. Now, There is a popular sub district that tourists want to go.

Traveling to Pilok
- By your car : From Thong Pha Phum Market to Ban I-tong Village, it has distances 70 kilometers, curve route more than 399 curves. You should drive with caution. The road is an asphalt road, some parts of the road surface have potholes. In addition to you should fill up the tank before you go there because Pilok village has only one petrol station.
- By bus : You can go by a yellow minibus. This minibus will go from Thong Pha Phum Market to Thong Pha Phum National Park and to Ban I-tong. The minibuses that come to Ban I-tong will leave 10:00 am - 12:00 am and the minibus that leave to Ban I-tong will leave 06:00 pm - 07:00 pm. The fare is 70 bath per person.
